Pier & Surf Fishing Reports

Blaise, Christopher and I went to Caseville on Jan 3 2016 and despite the heavy winds and ice flows it was a great morning. We arrived before first light so we waited till we could see and in pretty quick order Blaise hooked into three fish and Christopher fought and landed them. I hooked into a good one and then the ice moved into our spot. While my son retreated to the warmth of the truck we casted a while with nothing to show, so we decided to move to a spot with no ice. It didn't take long and we were back into the fish, and then Christopher made me put a little moonshine spoon on for him. I told him it was not going to work but he proved me wrong by finishing up a limit real quick on his own by catching a couple more trout. Check out the pic of what these fish are eating.
