LSSU Detroit Area Steelheaders Fisheries Scholarship

In cooperation with the Lake Superior State University Foundation, the Board of Directors has established the "Detroit Area Steelheaders Fisheries Scholarship". The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student majoring in the LSSU Biology, or Fisheries and Wildlife Management program, with a focus on fisheries.

The scholarship is a $1500 annual award. LSSU students may submit a letter of application to the Chair of Biological Sciences. This award does not automatically renew, however past recipients may apply.

Successful candidates

• Must be a full time student of at least Sophomore status

• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and Must be a resident of the state of Michigan

Members of the biological sciences faculty will recommend a recipient from the applicants for final approval by the Financial Aid Office.
